Letter to Chloe Kay

Dear Chloe Kay,

I can't believe you are four years old!  You are such a sweet princess.  Here are some things about you:

1. You went to Disney World for the first time in January.  You absolutely loved it!  You wanted to see all the shows and get all the princesses autographs.  You talk everyday about your next trip and what you will take with you.

2. You became a big sister in December.  You love that you are " a little and a big sister".  You are such a big help with Baylor.

3.  You continue to be so sweet.  You do have your girl "drama moments" sometimes (but not too many).  For the most part you are a very easy child.

4. You LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your friends.  And boy do you have a lot of them. You know all the kids at school and church by name and wanted to invite them all to your party.  When you walk in a room your friends love to call your name and hug you.  You love play dates.  You are very social and want me to tell you your week and who you will see when.  You always ask, "What's for me?"

5.  You love to tell Mommy everything about your day.  What you did, what people wore, who said what, etc.

6.  You continue to be a prissy princess that can hold her own with the boys.  You love to dress up and call anything with a skirt a tu-tu.

7. You love your long, curly hair.  You've had 3 trims already but do not want it cut.  We get compliments on it wherever we go.

8.  You love to play with your princess toys.  From time to time you will play with dolls.  But usually it's princess dolls and princess things.

9. You also love to watch movies.  When you're tired you will ask to lay on "your couch" and watch a movie.

10. You don't eat much.  You like carbs (chips, cereal, etc.), cheese dip, french fries, turkey hot dogs, cheese, yogurt, yogurt raisins, and protein bars.  So for dinner we ask you - yogurt or hot dog?

11. You are very much a daddy's girl.  But love to do girl things with mommy. You are always up for a shopping trip no matter where it is.

12. You are hi-lar-ious!  You are always making us laugh.  I need to do a separate post about all of your funny comments about things.

13.  You've gotten to sing several times in church and school this year.  You love being on stage.  You know every word and motion!

14.  You just finished your 2nd year of dance (tap and ballet) and your first year of gymnastics. You LOVE both of them.  You want to try it all though and have asked to do soccer and softball next year.  We will have to see about 4 things at once?? :)

15.  You love to talk about God. You tell me all the time - "Jesus died on the cross" and "Jesus wants to live in your heart".  I am so thankful for the great Sunday School teachers you've had this year.

16. You think Kaiden hung the moon.  This year was hard for you since he started school.  You missed him tremendously.  You both still choose each other over friends.  I love that you are best friends.  You play so well together.  I pray that your relationship will continue to grow and that you will remain best friends!

I am so thankful that God gave me you as a daughter.  I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to be one of the "there's only two girls" in our house.  You have taught me so much in these four years.  You teach me everyday to truly "stop and smell the roses".  Everyday is the best day you've ever had. I love the way you enjoy life and everything it offers.  Your happiness  and laughter is so contagious. You live in a world of "gumdrops and lollipops". I pray that God will use your sweet spirit daily.  I know He has BIG BIG plans for you.  I love you sweet princess!

"When I go to sleep I will turn 4."

Chloe Kay turned 4 on May 30.  She hasn't had her check up yet so I'll have to add her stats later.  The night before her birthday she told us, "When I go to sleep I will turn 4."  So sweet!

Kaiden had planned her whole birthday for her. His present to her was going to Build A Bear.  She made a lamb and dressed it in Sleeping Beauty clothes.  Guess what she named it?  Sleeping Beauty :)  We ate lunch at Chick Fil A.  We went with the grandparents, Aunt Kristi, and Uncle Caleb and ate dinner at her favorite Mexican restaurant.  She loves Cheese Dip.

On Saturday she had a birthday party for her friends.  We went to her gymnastics place.  It was so much fun.  The theme was Minnie Mouse.

Aunt Jenny also went into labor with Carver on Chloe Kay's birthday.  He wasn't born until May 31 though.  We can't wait to meet him!
